Author Description Edward Fishman teaches at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and is a senior research scholar at the Center on Global Energy Policy. He previously served at the U.S. State Department, the Pentagon, and the Treasury Department, earning multiple awards for his contributions to U.S. foreign policy. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, Politico Magazine, and Boston Review, among other publications. A native of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, he lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
