Author Description Patrick Martin is a former editor and foreign correspondent for The Globe and Mail. As Global Affairs Writer, Patrick's primary focus was on the Middle East. He was twice posted to the region – from 1991 to 1995 and from 2008 to 2012. In between, he served as The Globe’s Foreign Editor and as Comment Editor.<br />Before joining The Globe and Mail in 1984, Patrick was co-host of the national CBC Radio program Sunday Morning and co-author of Contenders: The Tory Quest for Power. He has a law degree from the University of Western Ontario.
